Two nominiations for UX Design Awards 2021
Two are better than one – not one, but two UID projects have been nominated for the UX Design Awards! A jury of experts selects products that offer users a special user experience. The AI-supported learning app MyMi.Mobile and the TRUMPF Track & Trace localization system for production have been short-listed for the award. Come and meet our contestants!
MyMi.Mobile: Digitalization of teaching
MyMi Mobile is a huge step towards better digitalization and accessibility in anatomy research and teaching. Europe’s first AI-supported microscopy app gives medical students of Ulm and Freiburg Universities access to 20,000 specimens via smartphone, tablet or laptop – whether they’re on the bus, at home or in a café. Moreover, the students can prepare for exams applying their knowledge in multiple choice and microscopy modules. The app supplements traditional face-to-face teaching and makes students less dependent on lab hours and microscope capacities.
Track&Trace: Smart Factory
Finding instead of searching! Track&Trace provides an integral component to the connected production. Sheet metal parts, tools and orders can be located precisely and in real time on the shop floor. This provides transparency on the shop floor and allows to prioritize working steps. The application is supported by a design language that has been developed specifically for mobile TRUMPF applications. It boasts a signature TRUMPF DNA, meeting the high standards of users on the shop floor.
Keep your fingers crossed that our projects will take home one of the awards. Or choose it in the online voting "UX Design Awards: Public Choice" as your UX favorite.
