Ralph Siegert, CEO
- With extensive professional experience at IT service providers and international agency networks, Ralph serves as the bridge between the digital world, technology, and business.
- He has extensive management expertise gained from his time at ETECTURE, Ogilvy, Wunderman Thompson (now VML), webweit (now Strix), and the BAYOONET GROUP.
- As part of the BAYOONET GROUP, Ralph is responsible for growth initiatives and the integration of UID and its UX services into the group.
- As CEO of UID, Ralph works alongside the UID team to advance the mission of making tomorrow’s world simpler and more aesthetically pleasing.

Franz Koller, UID Founder and author
- Franz has more than 35 years of experience in user-centered design of software and user interfaces. He works with companies across various industries to develop user-friendly solutions, from analysis through implementation.
- In 1998, the usability pioneer founded User Interface Design GmbH (now UID) together with Dr. Claus Görner, thereby playing a decisive role in shaping the development of usability and UX in Germany.
- To this day, he continues to play an active role in shaping the field, including as a co-initiator and editor of DIN EN ISO 14915 on software ergonomics for multimedia user interfaces, as well as a member of the executive board of the VDMA’s Software and Digitalization Association.
- Franz is also active as a speaker and delivers keynote addresses that are relatable, down-to-earth, and visionary at the same time.

Dr. Jan Seifert, Lead UX and Changitor
- Jan has over 15 years of project experience in user-centered innovation development and possesses in-depth expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence, accessibility, and data visualization.
- In strategy projects, Jan helps companies integrate UX into existing processes and develops training programs for the enterprise, industrial, and automotive sectors.
- His perspective is shaped by his Ph.D. in psychology with a focus on human-computer interaction, his experience leading agile project teams, and his active involvement in professional networks such as the German UPA.

Lisa Reimer, Lead UX and Changitor
- Lisa has more than 15 years of experience in designing user-centered user interfaces, and she supports companies in implementing digital solutions throughout the entire development process.
- In particular, she advises clients in the mechanical engineering sector and helps them integrate agile methods and human-centered product development into their organizations.
- Her perspective is shaped by her background in information design. Today, she shares her knowledge as a lecturer at the Stuttgart Media University.

Carina Völpel, Senior User Experience Consultant
- Carina Völpel has more than 15 years of experience in the analysis, design, and evaluation of digital products and user interfaces. Her focus is on user-centered solutions for enterprise and industrial environments.
- With her interdisciplinary background in information management, business administration, and psychology, she combines in-depth expertise in researching user needs with psychological insights and a deep understanding of complex digital products.
- As a facilitator and project manager, she helps teams work together to solve challenges and develop sustainable solutions. She relies on methods such as Design Thinking and LEGO® Serious Play®.
- As a trainer, Carina shares her knowledge through interactive and practical training sessions that provide lasting inspiration and encourage the application of these concepts in daily work.

Steffen Neumann, Creative Director and Lead User Experience Designer
- Steffen has been designing digital products at UID for over 20 years in sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, medical, enterprise, and consumer. His focus is on the conception and development of brand-specific design languages and design systems for digital products.
- His areas of expertise include UI and UX design, interaction design, logo and illustration design, and motion design. In addition, Steffen is responsible for ensuring design quality in our projects and is actively involved in the professional development and training of designers.
- Steffen is simply one of the best designers in the UX industry. It’s incredibly enlightening to follow his insights on creativity, finding one’s style, and design.
Verena Reuter, Senior User Experience Consultant
- Verena has more than 15 years of experience across the entire human-centered design process, with a focus on conceptualization and visual design.
- She serves as the link between concept, design expertise, and product design in the Industry, Enterprise, and Consumer sectors. In this role, she provides long-term support for projects and facilitates workshops to develop and advance collaborative solutions.
- Her perspective is shaped by her background in product design (B.A., Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design) and her master’s degree in creative direction (M.A., Pforzheim University).
