From Good UX to Real Impact: How Agile Teams Create Impact

The New Leadership Conference

Agile teams develop and deliver faster than ever before. But speed alone does not guarantee success: Despite good products and well-designed user experiences, many organizations still fail to achieve the desired business impact. This is exactly where Manage Agile 2026 comes in, bringing together experts in product development, agility, and management to discuss current challenges and successful approaches for agile organizations.

This raises a crucial question for UX as well: How does a good user experience actually translate into measurable impact? After all, UX does not exist in isolation. Perception, usage, the product itself, sales, and organizational conditions are all intertwined and collectively determine whether a product is ultimately successful.

Our presentation: “Good UX Isn’t Enough: How Agile Teams Achieve Real Impact Through Chains of Effect”

On November 26, from 3:55 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. on STAGE 1, our Lead User Experience Consultant, Lisa Reimer, will explain why even excellent UX can be ineffective if it isn’t designed with the entire value chain in mind.

Using specific project examples, Lisa highlights the common cognitive biases that arise in product and Agile teams and explains how to visualize the chains of impact—from perception through usage to the actual effect in the market. The goal here isn’t simply to do more UX, but to specifically identify the levers where UX, product strategy, and business goals intersect.

Ralph Siegert, CEO of UID, and Lisa Reimer will also be on-site throughout the entire event. Both are looking forward to exciting insights, new perspectives, and personal exchanges on agile product development, UX, and the question of how digital products actually make an impact.
