DWX 2021: Software Engineering meets LEGO®

How are LEGO® and software related? More closely than you might think! Therefore, the emphasis of our contribution to the Developer Week, which takes place from June 28 to July 02, 2021, will be very much on the little colorful building blocks. Our presentations will highlight how you can playfully modify processes or develop and test new ideas using LEGO®. You can participate in our remote presentations from the comfort of your home. We look forward to seeing you!

Play your way to success

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is an important component when it comes to mastering the digital transformation. After all, this process is more than just an innovative project – it is a fundamental reorganization: For the digital transformation to succeed, processes and cultures within a company must undergo a process of change. In their presentation "Building the Digital Transformation", Lisa Reimer and Daniel Kurz will explain how you can playfully initiate such change.

Thinking with your hands

There will be lots of fun and play in their second presentation, too: Lisa and Daniel will compare different rapid prototyping methods – from playdoh to LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, littleBits and NINTENDO LABO. These methods help to come up with viable ideas in a playful way: Rapid prototyping allows you to make initial product ideas palpable within no time at all and let your imagination run wild. Moreover, our hosts will present opportunities for using playful methods apart from rapid prototyping in your daily work.

An overview of our activities

Unfortunately, the DWX – Developer Week cannot take place on site this year. But we will be all the more delighted to see you join one of our remote presentations.
