UID wins two iF DESIGN AWARDS 2023 with LIEBHERR and TRUMPF

The iF DESIGN AWARD honors excellent design every year and is one of the most important design prizes worldwide. 11,000 entries from 56 nations were submitted in 2023. We are delighted to have won two of the coveted awards with our customers LIEBHERR and TRUMPF. We developed both products together with our customers in a human-centered design process.

With the Oseon app, TRUMPF is underlining its market leadership as a solution provider for digitally networked production. The integrated digital assistant makes day-to-day work easier for employees in sheet metal production – whether through support with setting up machines or with recommendations for separating cut parts. With Oseon, employees have permanent access to all relevant information via tablet. They can keep an eye on production and save themselves long search and waiting times.

Crane operators and fitters use the Tower Crane Operating System to operate tower cranes. Everything has to be just right here; clarity and unambiguousness are a must. The new system offers users a completely unique user experience: easy to learn, intuitive operation and adaptability to different working conditions increase working comfort enormously. LIEBHERR and UID have succeeded in creating a unique aesthetic feature in the construction site sector!
