Work, party and sun: UID celebrates a summer party and the new Munich premises
Business before pleasure: the staff User Interface Design GmbH (UID) came together for a workshop to boost the team spirit. The crowning finish was the celebration of the new business premises of UID in Munich.
„Bienvenido al UID Munich“ was the motto of the UID summer party on July 14, 2006. The complete UID staff celebrated the new business premises in Munich with BBQ specialties from South America. All employees from Ludwigsburg, Mannheim and Munich came together for the party with kith and kin as well as numerous guests that have a close relationship to UID.
The fantastic party preceded an internal workshop providing the employees from Ludwigsburg and Mannheim the opportunity to check out the large premises and the new usability test lab. The workshop focused on the lively exchange of information among each other as well as on the UID mission statement. For every company, it is very important that the employees see themselves as one team and that they are able to identify themselves with their company, as the employees are the engine for success, which is a principle that the employees are always aware of. The UID workshops that take place on a regular basis always help to renew and boost the team spirit.
And the result could be seen in the evening: 80 guests celebrated the successful day with sunshine, excellent food and some glasses of wine. Even a short, but heavy shower could not do any harm to the wonderful atmosphere. It only helped the UID team to move closer together – in the true sense of the word.
