Together worldwide: UID introduces the international usability network on the Hannover Fair

The Hannover Fair 2006 has again been very successful for User Interface Design GmbH (UID). In addition to interesting products, which are easy to use and attractively designed, UID presented another highlight: the International Usability Partners, in short, IUP.

Terms like „user friendliness“ and „easy operation“ have become more and more important for international companies: as different the machines and units are, as different are their users. Cultural influences and country-specific work procedures pose a challenge for designing user interfaces. A design solution that has been approved in Germany and Austria, may cause disapproval and questioning looks in China or America.

User Interface Design GmbH has accepted this challenge by establishing an international network of independent usability companies: the International Usability Partners. Together with our partner companies from Italy, Great Britain, France, and China, we conduct international tests and user surveys. Further contacts in Canada, USA, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Poland, Austria, Japan, and India have been made to complete the worldwide network of unlimited ease of use.

The close collaboration with established usability companies from all over the world ensures efficient and high-quality project work on a high level. Achieving comparable results in the whole world furthers the success of a product, from North America via Europe to the Far East. The International Usability Partners share the same quality standards, ensuring excellent results combined with highest cost-efficiency for our customers. By means of the achieved results, we develop interaction concepts and visual designs, always taking the cultural singularities into account…completely under the UID motto of the Hannover Fair 2006: Simply simple!
