On 8 November 2007, the World Usability Day (UID) went on a journey around the world again. Its bags were heavily packed with usability to live and experience for everyone.
As a longtime sponsor and co-promoter, the User Interface Design GmbH (UID) participated in the World Usability Day 2007, too. On several locations across Germany, the UID experts provided detailed information on usability. Special guest in Stuttgart: Prof. Dr. Marc Hassenzahl, former UID employee and current assistant professor at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Koblenz-Landau.
With his lecture about User Experience, he took along the interested audience to a journey to the world of usability.

Internet World Congress & Trade Fair
The Internet World Congress & Trade Fair 2007 convenes internet professionals for lectures, workshops and exhibitions around online topics and trends. In 2007, 500 participants and 3,000 visitors will meet at the Interational Convention Center Munich (ICM) for the first time.
User Interface Design GmbH (UID) will again actively participate in the main topic of Usability. Andreas Selter, Manager Web Solutions, will show current user-friendly web design solutions in a workshop. As one of the exhibitors, UID will inform about usability for websites, online shops and intranets.

Information on the International Usability Partners (IUP)

The motto of the 2007 annual conference of the international Usability Professionals Association (UPA) will be "Patterns: Blueprints for Usability". Part of the international conference, which will take place in the US, will deal with questions about usability testing.
As a member of the IUP, User Interface Design GmbH (UID) will give the lecture "Guidelines for Successful Recruitment in International Usability Studies". The lecturers Jakob Biesterfeldt, Usability Consultant at UID, and Robert Gillham of Amberlight Partners, London, UK, will talk about their experiences.

UID will present itself again this year on the largest technology fair worldwide. True to the motto of the Hannover Fair "Get new technology first", usability experts will give information on how to adjust new technologies to the users' needs.
