Summary of the World Usability Day 2006
115 events in 35 countries for 36 hours: The success of the World Usability Day 2005 really calls for a continuation. UID participated in 2006 again to surprise the visitors how simple life can be. Under the slogan "Making Life Easy!" UID took an active part in the events at Munich and Magdeburg.

Internet World Congress & Trade fair
As leading network-event of the online-business, the Internet World Congress summarised the most important trends and developments. Famous experts reported and discussed different subjects such as online marketing or process improvement.
Another main focus was the site-optimisation by means of usabiltiy. Expert in this area: Andreas Selter, manager web Solutions with UID. Within the scope of a workshop, he will resolved the question, how user requirements will be realised in webdesign solutions and how usabilty testing is able to cover global markets at international level. In addition, the User Interface Design GmbH was sponsor of the Internet World Congress.

Mensch & Computer 2006 (Human & Computer 2006)

Change of Structure is the slogan of the German HCI conference Human & Computer 2006. As information technology has spread to all areas in our lives, virtually all people have become computer users in some way or another - not only on their work places. Against the background of the much appreciated memorandum "Human & Computer 2000. Information, Interaction, Cooperation", the annual conference "Human & Computer" is an endeavor to combine different technical fields and practical areas in a fruitful discussion.
User Interface Design GmbH sponsors the Human & Computer conference this year again and presents itself in the exhibition. Furthermore, UID will offer a workshop on prototyping within the event program.
