User Interface Design GmbH (UID) is an interdisciplinary and creative consulting firm that has specialised in conception, design and the creation and testing of user interfaces. We have many years of experience in the user-centred design and development of user interfaces in diverse fields of application. We regularly present the quality of our work in articles/white papers and books.
Our methods are characterised by a pragmatic and user-centred approach to problem solving aiming at acceptability and applicability of the product. Our team of software developers, psychologists, engineers and graphic designers ensures that the interactive products we test and develop are equally intuitive, attractive and innovative.
We have over 55 experts working at our company headquarters in Ludwigsburg and in our offices in Dortmund, Mannheim and Munich. Their range of expertise include engineering, cognitive psychology, information technology as well as graphic and media design.
UID supports the German Chapter of the Usability Professionals Association UPA (www.gc-upa.de) and was a sponsor of the "Mensch und Computer" conference.
